Do you really need a planner or designer?

slot indosat A very common question most couples ask themselves is “do we need a wedding planner?”
This question is sometimes followed up with the question “can we afford a wedding planner?”

We often get a puzzled look when chatting with engaged couples when we pose the question can you afford not to have a wedding planner?” Here are some things to ponder:

· Who knows how to use your budget most efficiently, and who knows what a “reasonable cost is for each vendor’s services?
· Who knows how to select trustworthy vendors depending on their reputation and not just their website?
Who can get automatic discounts through their network of wedding professionals on venues, catering, photography, cakes, etc?
· Who has the experience to arrange, coordinate (and manage) all of the vendors and their sometimes quirky behaviors on the wedding weekend?
· Who understands the best manner to execute a lavish reception (taking into account design, seating, traffic, venue restrictions, etc)?
· Who knows the scoop on the latest hot trends?
· Who makes sure that the bride is being pampered with hair/makeup at her hotel while she and her bride squad are sipping mimosas?
· Who keeps track of all the RSVPs? (not to mention the tedious stuffing, stamping, sealing, mailing)?

Carolina Event Design allows you to concentrate on the fun aspects of the engagement and day, rather than the redundant price comparing ghost chairs and color matching a handful of eyelash pintuck linens. We help you from beginning to end, promising you that every detail will be handled.

We offer customized budgets. Instead of cutting your budget and removing items that you've dreamed of having, we know how to justify your budget and move dollars around to achieve your dream.

We handle the most minute details of the planning process, and then combine this intricate plan with the overall design and décor that will be incredible for your wedding. Many brides have ideas of elements they like; however, they get completely stressed when trying to incorporate everything not knowing how to tie it all together. Color for example...funky color schemes can be a world of fun, but they must be tastefully tied together. We've seen every color scheme imaginable, and when it's complemented in the proper manner it makes an unforgettable wow factor for your guests.

Here are some of our most common initial questions...

Do you offer different packages?

Yes! We have many different levels of service to hopefuly reach all types of clients. Our most popular service is full service planning (for both weddings and social events), however we're happy to find a package that fits your needs.

What is your style?

Hopefully from our site you can see that we adapt to the client's style. We've run the spectrum on style choices and always want to pull out the couple's style preferences and personality when deisgning a wedding or event. We most certainly want the event reflective of them.

Are you licensed and insured?

YES!

How many wedding do you take a year/weekend?

The number isn't completely set as it depends on the scope of services needed for events and if travel is involved. We're not a company that brags about the quantity of weddings we take, we focus more on a balanced quality. Between the 3 person planning team, we limit to 20 weddings a year collectively. This doesn't include corporate and social events, or our design only packages.

How far out do I need to book?

Honestly, for the most popular seasons with weddings, the sooner the better! At least inquire to see if we're accepting your date. For corporate and social, usually those are a little easier because the dates are either during the week or a little more flexible.

What is your back up plan if my lead planner is sick?

Great question. We never overbook our team for a weekend. The maximum number of events for any weekend is 2; and there are 3 lead planners + our staff of contractors. So in case of an emergency, we always have a lead planner available to take over.

Do you have 8-5 office hours?

Heck no! We understand that most of our clients work day jobs, so we make ourselves as available as possible in the evenings to meet also.
